Edirne Makedonya ve Sarayii Yerlekelerinde Jeofizik ile Tarihin zlerini Srmek ve Kentin Planlama Srecine Entegrasyonu

Birka on santimetreden birka metreye kadar olan derinlikleri aratran tahribatsz jeofizik aratrmalar yakn yzey (/s) jeofizik olarak tanmlanmaktadr. Kltrel mirasn korunmasna ynelik jeofizik aratrmalar, restorasyon amal jeofizik aratrmalar, yeraltndaki arkeolojik yap kalntlarn belirlemeyi amalayan arkeoloji jeofizii aratrmalar, yakn yzey jeofizik aratrmalara rnek oluturmaktadr. Yeraltnda bulunan arkeolojik yap kalntlarnn ortaya karlmas ve gnmz kent planlama srecine eklenmesi konusunda arkeoloji jeofizii aratrmalar ile elde edilen veriler deerli katklar salamaktadr. Edirnede Osmanl dnemine ait yaplardan Makedonya Yerlekesi ve Yeni Sarayn etrafndaki Sarayii Yerlekesi s jeofizik aratrmalar iin rnek alan seilmitir. Her iki yerleke de tarihsel neminin yansra bugn de kentsel alan iinde aktif olarak kullanlan nemli yerlemelerdir. Dolaysyla bu yerleimlere ait yeraltndaki arkeolojik yap kalntlarnn ortaya karlmas alann yerleim plannn tasarlanmasnda nemli bir veri taban oluturmaktadr. Hem Makedonya Yerlekesi hem de Sarayii yerlekesinin tasarmna altlk olmak zere yksek znrlkl hasarsz jeofizik uygulamalar gerekletirilmitir. Makedonya Yerlekesi bahesinde mmkn olduunca sk dorultular zerinde 1m aralklarla elektriksel zdiren tomografi (ET) uygulanarak Osmanl dnemine ait yeraltndaki yap kalntlar belirlenirken Sarayii Yerlekesinde ise yer radar (GPR) yntemi ile 1m aralkl paralel profiller zerinde 5 cm aralklarla 500 MHz korumal anten kullanlarak yaklak 20.000 m2'lik bir alan aratrlmtr. Bu bilgilerle varl belirlenmi fakat arkeolojik kazlarla henz ortaya karlamayan alanlar bulunmaktadr. Bu alanlar planlama srecine dahil edilerek kentin kltrel ve tarihi miras korunup gelecek nesillere aktarlacaktr.

Tracing the Traces of History with Geophysics in Edirne Makedonya and Sarayii Campuses and Integration of the City Planning Process

Non-destructive geophysical surveys exploring depths from a few tens of centimeters to several meters are described as near-surface geophysics. Geophysical surveys for the protection of cultural heritage, geophysical surveys for restoration, archaeological geophysical surveys are examples of near-surface geophysical surveys. The data obtained by archaeological geophysical surveys provide valuable contributions to the discovery of cultural heritage) remains underground and their inclusion in today's urban planning process. Two of the Ottoman period buildings in Edirne, the Macedonian campus and the Sarayii campus were selected as sample sites for geophysical surveys. Both settlements are important settlements that are actively used within the urban area today. Therefore, the unearthing of the underground archaeological remains of these settlements constitutes an important database in the design of the site's settlement plan. High-resolution Geophysical applications were carried out as underlining the design of both the Macedonian campus and the Sarayii campus. In the Macedonia campus garden as often as possible at intervals of 1m in line with the campus electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) when determining the underground ruins of the Ottoman period by applying, in the Sarayii campus georadar (GPR) with 500 MHz shielded antenna using parallel profiles 1m spaced at 5 cm intervals on method 20.000 m2 was investigated. There are areas that have been identified with this information but have not yet been uncovered by archaeological excavations. These areas will be included in the planning process and the cultural and historical heritage of the city will be preserved and transferred to future generations.
